I’m originally from is El Salvador. At the age of 5 months, on May 8, 1980, I was adopted by two loving parents from the United States. During the 5 months that I was in El Salvador, the country was going through its own Civil War. The orphanage that I was at didn’t have the necessities an infant needs to be properly taken care of. Therefore, my parents were sending money down to them so I could get that care.
Unfortunately, the money was being used towards weapons for underground criminals. When my parents arrived to take me to my new home, I was very malnourished. I was very sick with various illnesses throughout my childhood because of this. My Mom was taking me to doctors’ appointments because of things varying from ear infections to strep throat. I even needed to be hospitalized for asthma. Not much was known about asthma back then, so many doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. My Mom would spend the day at the hospital with me and my Dad would come to the hospital at night. Every night they would sit in my hospital room while I slept.
In 1985, my Mom found out that she was suffering from diabetes and needed to be on insulin. Twenty-four years later, she found out that her kidneys were failing due to the aforementioned reason. She needed a kidney transplant.
Immediately, I told my Dad that I would be willing to donate my kidney to her. My parents, being the loving parents that they are, didn’t want me to go through a procedure like that. Blood relatives offered, but due to their own medical complications, they were unable to do so.
I kept on pursuing to be tested in order to find out if I would be an organ and tissue match for my Mom. From July of 2009 to September of 2009, my Mom and I were going through many tests to see if this would be the case. In October of 2009, we as a family learned that my Mom and I were a perfect tissue and organ match.
On Monday, October 12, 2009, we had the surgery. It was a complete success! The doctor said the surgery went very well and there were no complications! It is now over a year later, and the kidney is working very well!
I like to tell everyone this story, not because I want to sound like a hero,(I believe God did all the work. I just volunteered) but because I want people out in the world to know that miracles do happen!
Around the time that this was happening, my Dad emailed our local news station (without my Mom’s or my own knowledge at first). The station interviewed us on the miracle. You can view the video of the broadcast below:
I hope everyone enjoys this miracle, just as much as I enjoyed doing this for my Mom!

My story is actually about my son. On August 3rd 2009, my 12 year old son R. rode his bicycle through a red light and was hit by 2 SUVs. Against all odds my son survived.
My son lost; 1 kidney and half his liver, broke his pelvis, crushed 1 lung and lost 46 pints of blood through surgery(platelets, plasma, and red blood cells). My son has been nick-named “The Miracle Come Back Kid” by his friends and teachers.
Many good things have come out of this Miracle of life my son was given, such as; lectures on bike safety, interviews, commercials, blood drives, video, cartoon book, clothes line, and we were invited to go on the Maury Show. You can visit our website at http://www.miraclecomeback.com
I just wanted to share this with everyone. When you think you got it bad, someone out there has got it worse.

After three years of having a excruciating pain threw my chest and being diagnosed with a pinched nerve, I began thowing up blood. After days of human mistakes,I was finally diagnosed with malt lymphoma (STOMACH CANCER). THE DATE WAS 9-20-2006. THE PROGNOSIS was very poor.
I had a wondeful, caring doctor who first put me on medicine called a prepac. After 4 days, I remember waking up and thinking My God, so this is how I’m suppose to feel. The difference was so great and the pain threw my chest was disappearing.
By my third biopsy in January of 2007, I was cancer free. I ask my doctor if this would be considered a MIRACLE. He said, Diane you must have had help from somewhere. As of this day which is 7-07-09, I SIT HERE LATE AT NIGHT,JUST RECIEVING THE MEDICAL REPORTS, WHICH DO SHOW GOD SAVED ME. FULLY CANCER FREE, in a matter of 4 months at that time.
And I still have my own stomach without needing chemo. The doctor told me his next step at the time was going to be to remove my stomach and start me on chemo.I know the Lord gave me this chance to help others and give them hope. There really is a God.
I AM LIVING PROOF. I am not sure how to go about submitting my medical records to have it acknowledged. But this is where I am starting. God is with us. Have hope. No situation is too big for the Lord to turn around.
Thank you my Lord and saviour for my being here to write this today. Blessings.

God allowed me to live three times.
The second time was in July, 2000. I’d been really sick for months and months and all I could eat was yogurt and fruit cocktail and green beans. I was in the hospital in June 2000 for 10 plus days. I passed bile from both ends for most of those days.
The Chief of the hospital told my husband and me that it was my gall bladder, but they couldn’t operate because my gall bladder wasn’t showing up as bad. I signed myself out because I decided I could go home and die. They weren’t doing anything for me there.
By the end of the next month, July, 2000, I went to a doctor’s appointment and my white blood count went to 20,000. The first time I’d been hospitalized in June, it was 15,000. I’d also like to say, the first time I went into the hospital, I’d driven myself there and had my father-in-law with me because it was his appointment day, not mine.
My doctor saw me in the waiting room and asked me what I was doing there and I told him I brought my father-in-law for his appointment. He said while you are here, let me check your white blood count, and that’s when it was 15,000.
My father-in-law was stranded. It was about an hour and a half drive from home so my husband had to come get my father-in-law. Then, on the July visit, I’d had an appointment with the eye doctor. I was out of my acid reflux medicine and went to my clinic to have it refilled.
My doc came out and said while you are here, let me check your white blood count. It was 20,000 and again, I drove myself to the hospital. My doctor informed me that there were no surgeons on duty at the VA hospital and he transported me to a civilian hospital (Rowan) there in Salisbury.
The doctor was waiting for me in the ER. He immediately sent me for an ultra sound and gave me a Demerol shot because by the time they finished the ultra sound which is not painful at all, it did leave me in pain because of the pushing of the instrument on my stomach around the gallbladder.
When the Dr. came in, he asked me if I had any family with me and I said no, but my husband was on his way because my VA doctor called him. The Dr. said it was my gall bladder and he said he was going to try to do my surgery the next day in the morning, but if he could get the crew together he wanted he’d do it at midnight. At the time he told me this, it was approx. 4:30 pm.
He kept coming in and asking me if my husband had gotten there yet. I said no. Finally at 5:45 pm, my husband arrived and my Dr. came in and asked if it was my husband. I introduced the Dr. to my husband, they shook hands and the Dr. said kiss her good-bye we are going in now to take her gall bladder out.
That was a far cry from midnight or early in the morning. He explained to my husband that it was a 45 min. surgery and I’d be in recovery about that long and if I did well, I could go home the next morning and he said if my gall bladder wasn’t inflamed he was going to use laser.
While on the operating table, both my lungs collapsed, my gall bladder was gangrene, and ruptured and dead. I also got pleurisy and pneumonia in both lungs. When the surgery was over, the Doctor told my husband I was not going to make it. I had to go on life support for a few days, then when I wasn’t doing much better, they went ahead and took me off. They never even bothered to put me in ICU.
By the grace of God, I lived and I got out of the hospital 8 days later. The Lord has been good to me. That was not my first miracle for myself. My first miracle happened years before, in 1976 I had a head-on collision going 60 mph.
I lived and had a broken neck, but didn’t know my neck had been broken until over 20 plus years later. I knew I was hurt at the time, but there was no technology to see a hairline fracture in 1976, like there is today. My head bobbed like the little dogs that people have in their cars.
I praise God for both those miracles and for the one I just got. And the most recent miracle came just a month ago. There were 2 nodules found on my left lung that the doctor thought was suspicious. The “C” word was never used. I went into the hospital on Aug 16, and had the surgery to remove those nodules that day. I had to go on life support because it was my lungs they were operating on and the ventilator helped me breathe until I could do it on my own.
I got through the surgery just fine and the nodules were benign, praise the Lord!!! I did alright for a couple of days off the life support. But, after that, I couldn’t breathe right and I had a fever of 104, they packed me in ice and I caught sepsis and also pneumonia and was put on life support again.
I saw angels in my room, 3 on the right side and 1 on the left side of my room, and I saw white angels guarding the gates of Heaven and I saw the most beautiful white light coming out of the top of the gates that these huge angels were guarding.
It was a gut wrenching experience because God allowed me to live and He also allowed me a glimpse of glory. It was so amazing that the first week I tried to talk about it, I couldn’t do it without crying and sobbing my heart out.
The doctors gave me a 50-50 chance. Because of the Lord and His love for me, His child, I lived. I love the Lord with all my heart and soul. I was in the hospital for about 16 days with 14 of them in ICU. I give all the glory to the Lord for loving me enough to let me live through all these things.
I also praise Him for allowing me to have angels to watch over me and protect me and I am so blessed to be able to see a glimpse of Heaven. God is truly wonderful and loving and kind. Most of all, He is real, very real and I was on lots of prayer lists and I feel like every prayer that went up for me is why I am here today recuperating.

I am catholic since birth, but an ordinary one till 35 years of age. I started reading the BIBLE with a Baptist pastor in my early readings. But I decided to read it by myself because I did not want to be accused or accuse others in misinterpreting the HOLY BOOK.
So I said “I will read Your BOOK, teach and I will follow. If YOU will not teach then I am not to be blamed, but if YOU teach then I will follow and blame me if I follow not.”
Few months of reading the HOLY BIBLE I felt that IT started giving instruction and started to make me a better person. It made me understand all religions, respect their ways–even the sinners.
Here is the crucial part that I have to cross, I FELT I HAVE TO BE IN A GROUP OF BELIEVERS BUT WHICH GROUP SHOULD I BELONG TO SINCE THE BIBLE made me respect all all groups, MUSLIM, BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS, ATHEIST, BUDDHIST and all the rest. I even prayed with everybody calling to ONE SUPREME SOURCE of all that is GOOD.
Should I be with the BAPTIST? PROTESTANTS, PENTECOSTALS ONENESS, TRINITARIANS? IT WAS THEN WHEN THIS THING HAPPENED. I said put me in a group where I can serve you better.
Then on the Saturday of that week with all my six children and my wife we went to Catholic Church, SANTO DOMINGO, in Quezon City, an amazing thing happened. I say it was a miracle.
While we were inside the church on that Saturday morning after the Holy mass sitting on the pews I saw a heavy built bodied man walking towards the image of Sacred Heart of JESUS in a fervent prayerful manner, walking so gently. He knelt and started embracing the image, after which he went back to his seat, walking so prayerfully. I’ve never seen such mood like he had. Then looking back to the image I was surprised that the image was looking at me! The image was facing opposite side before.
I tried to check my vision so I asked my son on my left side to see where the image was looking, and my son said on the right side. How come I see it looking at me on the left side? To check again I asked my daughter on my right side the same question and she said on the right. But I see it looking at me sitting on the left side. How can this be?
Then I heard a voice say, “Take ABU, carry him and bring him closer to me.e” My son ABU was sick then suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome. I obeyed the voice, carrying my son closer to the image of JESUS. While walking and almost there, the left hand of the image touched my son’s head.
Maybe a coincidence because of my height and my son’s head next to the image–maybe that is why the left hand was in perfect height to touch my son’s head.
But I knew that something was happening. And my son was cured.
